University 3rd Stake Conference

Tuesday November 3- Stake Temple Day at the Salt Lake Temple.

-At 7 PM their will be a Chapel Devotional Session, for a half-hour.

-8 PM is the Endowment Session. If you want, you could attend the 5 PM endowment and then go to the Chapel Session at 7 PM

Saturday November 14

-At 5:30 PM The Stake Conference Adult Session will be in at the Stake Center in the East Chapel

Sunday November 15

-At 7:30 AM is the Priesthood Leadership Meeting in the East Chapel

-The General Session of Stake Conference is at 10 AM in the Cultural Hall

Community Preparedness Fair

The 3rd Stake is sponsoring a preparedness fair, all Village residents are invited. It will run from 10 am until noon. There will be a General session and then four Breakout sessions which will be 30 minutes each.

The sessions will cover topics like:

-Finding Employment in troubled times

- Maintaining good mental health and helping loved ones who have mental problems like depression.

-Establishing and maintaining a good credit rating, and getting ready buy your first home.

-Health insurance options for couples and children. What's available and how to evaluate the options.

-There will be a fifth breakout session, but it has not been finalized yet.

Nursery will be provided. The Fair is completely free.

Now some ward level things.

Stake Co-ed Volleyball. Our ward will be playing against the 21st Ward on November 5th at 7 PM.

Visiting Teaching Celebration November 11th at 6:30 PM at the church.

Dinner Groups got moved to November 20 @ 6 PM

Next Week, November 8 is the Primary Program, in the east chapel.
